Department is having Association of its strong Alumni base. There is separate governing body and team for Alumni activities. Every year, department arrange Alumni Meet in the month of March. The main purpose of Alumni Association is to maintain the touch with the past students and cultivate the strong networking for the benefit of present students in their placement and other academic activities.

To take and execute decisions regarding management of association.
To carry out all the activities of the association.
To hold required meetings of management board.
To call and administer annual meeting.
To accept the donation and use it as where need arises.
To open the association’s account in the bank for the funds transactions. Any two, either from chairman, secretary and treasurer will sign the cheques etc. and treasurer has to maintain books of accounts.

There will be a rotation in the board membership by 1/3rd every three years, except the chairman.

DUTIES OF THE SECRETARY AND JOINT SECRETARY

To find and register the new members.
To make a live contact with the members and concerned persons and parties.
To make and maintain the essential correspondence and communication for effective administration of the association.
To keep all the records for better use by the members and association itself.
To carry out the functions handed over by the management board.

Procedure for membership

To become life time member send demand draft in favour of ‘Alumni Association- P.G. Department of Business Studies’. (You can also pay fees in cash if you submit the from personally but cheque is not desirable). You can give donation addition to life time membership fees. Donation is not compulsory to become life time member of Alumni Association.

Activities and events

To collect and use placement information for members.
To provide economic help to the students studying in m.com. Classes.
To arrange lectures of eminent persons.
To equip the department with advanced technology and equipments.
To arrange get together for common purpose.
To assist affected persons by natural calamities.
To honour meritorious students at M.Com. (Pre & Final) level and Ph.D. students.
To arrange annual function every year.
To select members on the management board.
Any activity suggested by annual body.
